Worksop Town FC will bid to claim the Sheffield and Hallamshire Senior Cup for the third successive season when they face Worsbrough Bridge Athletic at the Eco-Power Stadium on Tuesday, 28 April at 7.30pm.

The Tigers finished a disappointing 16th place in their first season back in the National League North after a 2-1 defeat at Chorley on Saturday. A cup win would offer some consolation for a difficult campaign.

Worsbrough Bridge come into the final high on confidence after securing promotion to the ninth tier with a 2-0 playoff victory over Wakefield AFC. Top scorer Keelan Grist claimed his 26th goal of the season in that final.

The sides have met before this season. Worksop won 3-0 in the cup to advance, with goals from Luke Hall, Liam Hughes, and Aleks Starcenko. Bridge, managed by Lee Morris in his third year of his second spell, finished just outside the playoff places in Division One.

Tickets are £10 for adults and £5 for concessions. The stadium is at Stadium Way, Doncaster, DN4 5JW. Further details on parking and facilities are available on the club website.
